TELL Community Counseling Service is a non-profit organization which
offers professional, accredited face-to-face counseling on a flexible
fee scale and thousands of hours of counseling are given each year. We
provide individual, couple, child and family counseling in English,
Japanese, Hindi, Spanish and German. We serve both international and
Japanese clients.
TELL Community Counseling Service is looking to hire a Clinical Services
Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to oversee, coordinate and
support TELLfs Community Counseling Service clinical programs. This
position will involve coordinating clinical intake services and managing
Employee Assistance Program contracts. This position also involves
significant administrative duties, including financial responsibilities.
The successful applicant will also be involved in providing guidance and
support to outreach program staff.
This position is a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried position. The
contract will be for one year in the first instance, with a three month
probationary period. This position will be based at TELLfs offices in
Minami Aoyama.
Selection Criteria
Essential criteria:
Background in mental health field
Experience in dealing with people who are seeking counseling Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Good administrative management
Ability to manage a number of tasks at one time Fully bi-lingual in
English and Japanese (spoken and written) Computer literate
Desirable criteria:
Experience in conducting counseling intake/assessment processes Masters
level (or in the process of completion) in mental health field
