DESCRIPTION:
Summary:
The main responsibility of this role is to provide pre-sales support mainly
in Japan but at times for the rest of AIPAC as well with details as follows.
Presales technical support for hardware and software products with heavy
emphasis on software developers and software-based solutions. Support
regional sales managers on technical issues with products. Assist sales to
identify and qualify all opportunities for assigned strategic accounts and
general inquiries. The ability to develop and maintain customer
relationships. Create and deliver accurate and technically correct, sales
presentations to potential customers. Ability to creatively apply technical
workarounds to sales blockers. Ability to drive development of sample code,
sample implementations and identification of integration workflow for
software products.
Qualifications:
At least five years experience supporting OEM or ISP customers preferred.
2+ years supporting software development teams.
Experience as an application/systems engineer/FAE preferred. Experience with
proprietary operating systems desired. Experience with software licensing
models.
Skills:
Strong understanding of use market and implementation of software
development products and tools. Excellent verbal and written communication
and presentation skills. Excellent in technical proposal preparation and
presentation. Must be able to provide a proven and successful track record
of supporting technical products. Team player. Willing to travel overseas.
Language experience with C/C++ and VB.
Responsibilities:
Presales technical support for all embedded networking hardware and software
products. Support regional account managers on technical issues with
products. Assists sales to identify and qualify all opportunities for
assigned strategic accounts in general inquiries. Create and deliver
accurate and technically correct, sales presentations to potential
customers. Work with inside sales support staff and pre and post sales staff
to further customer relations.
