DESCRIPTION:
Summary:
Responsible for all quality initiatives, which includes products processes
and test results within the Japan region. Resolution of customer quality
issues when necessary, which may include on-site customer visits. These
visits will include presenting failure analysis and corrective action
information.
Qualifications:
Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Familiarization with relevant industry standards to include ISO 9001/2000
and IPC A-610.
Experience:
2+ years minimum related hardware quality experience.
Working knowledge of circuit board manufacturing.
Working knowledge of failure analysis and corrective action processes.
Skills:
Work independently as well as in a team environmental resolving quality
system issues such as product specific or process issues. Solid hardware or
software troubleshooting skills. Polished customer interface skills.
Licenses, Certifications:
Six Sigma.
TQM is a plus.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001/2000 is a plus
Responsibilities:
Serves as a liaison between the end customer and the company operations and
sales. Works with quality management or engineering staff to determine
quality and reliability standards; collects data, applies statistical
methods and generates metrics reports for the Japan region. Issues
corrective action requests and monitors corrective action implementation;
participates in failure analysis investigations and prepares reports.
Interfaces with engineering services operations design engineering technical
support and customer support to gather data and understand issues affecting
product quality. In absence of responsible parties will support resolution
of production problems as necessary. Collects data apply statistical quality
control procedures.
