DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the global controller, this position will manage accounting
in Japan. Directs and coordinates the financial control and reporting in
a proper and timely manner in support of global and corporate management.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the financial control and reporting in a proper
and timely manner
- Identify and understand corporate accounting needs and policies and
develop products and services to meet those needs
- Establish, direct and implement specific accounting policies, methods,
practices and systems to plan, measure and control operations in Japan
- Additional responsibilities include annual budgets, letters of credit,
management control objectives, tax, legal and other government regulations.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in global managerial accounting
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good judgement skills, strong analytical skills
- SAP or Hyperion knowledge are highly preferred
