DESCRIPTION:
Events Organizer for NPO Run for the Cure Foundation
Manage development strategies and functions, including corporate
fundraising and relations, individual giving and special events, and
communications.
Researching, developing, adapting and implementing short- and long-term
fundraising strategies.
Expanding and diversifying the funding of the organization across the
corporate and individual giving sectors. Identify strategic partners
that will expand the organization's reach and fundraising capabilities.
The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and
approximately 2-5 years of sales, marketing, or project management
experience; friendly and comfortable working with
suppliers/vendors/donors; organized and good at handling the occasional
crisis; and interested in the way technology is changing and using it to
the Foundation's advantage.
