Description:
Responsible for achieving short and mid-term total revenue target.
Leads, oversees and manages a pro-active sales force as an integral part
of the Sales and Marketing team to achieve the hotel's revenue goals.
Provides support to team and solutions to ensure a sustainable and
efficient selling process. Provides advice to the VP of Sales and
Marketing in strategic planning and overall business goals relating to
Sales issues of the hotel. Protects and guards Corporate standards,
Brand integrity and Hotel image.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar capacity with international
chain hotels
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Drive from start to end all overall Sales objectives and initiatives
best suited for the hotel.
- Participates in the production and execution of Sales budgets and
business plans.
- Effectively helps to promote and position the brand and the hotel at
its desired level.
- Manages and administrates the Convention and Banquet Sales department.
- Assists the VP of Sales and Marketing in achieving the hotel's
business objectives and revenue goals.
- Knowledge of market trends and behaviour including political,
economical and social issues.
- Sound communication skills.
