DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced person with a
successful track record selling integrated marketing solutions too
pharmaceutical and medical device customers. This person will help to
spearhead the company's direct sales efforts for the Japan region.
Our optimal candidate will have a successful background in relationship
solution sales focused on pharmaceutical and medical device HCP &
Patient solutions. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice
President of Healthcare Markets.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales in the areas of consultative solution sales,
custom premium projects and advertising /media programs.
- Must call on all contacts associated with assigned territory including
but not limited to VP Marketing, Directors of Marketing, Product
director, Brand Director.
- Demonstrate ability to sell programs across various client segments.
- Must consistently develop new prospects, qualify leads and close sales
in various channels
- On an annual basis, construct a formal business plan for your
territory, with critical focus on sales activities targeted down to the
market segment and individual customer level. Ensure strong ongoing
promotion of selected target products.
- Must have the ability to independently manage their territory from
prospecting to closing to ongoing support and expanding business
Qualifications
***Healthcare/pharmaceutical experience required.***
- Superior interpersonal skills & relationships with decision makers
- Outstanding knowledge of healthcare industry
- Experience working with channel sales resources, media property or an
advertising agency to quickly close early wins designed to excite,
motivate and ignite channel programs
- Ability to build strong contacts at the senior management levels of
prospective clients
- Excellent PC skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other
applications as required by Management (e.g., SalesForce.com, etc.).

- Ability to explain and teach difficult/abstract concepts to
salespeople and customers
- B.S. or B.A., Business or Science. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years successful experience in Sales, Sales Management,
and/or Product Management.
