DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE
- To increase cross-border transaction volume by both marketing and business development.
- To direct market research to identify Japanese cardholder spending trends when traveling overseas and overseas cardholder spending trends in Japan
- To develop overall strategy to increase ISA volume for Japan
- To plan and implement marketing programs for Japanese cardholders traveling overseas and for tourists visiting Japan with the intention to: 1) Increase incoming volume/revenue from both POS and ATM 2) Increase outgoing volume/revenue from both POS and ATM
- To develop new business to increase cross-border volume.
- To maintain and manage relationships with key national tourist promotion bureaus and partners
- To develop and manage direct relationship with key merchants in Japan to conduct inbound promotion
- To support Product strategy to increase premium; commercial card holders who are expected to contribute outbound volume increase.
- To support new product launch (Debit and Pre-Paid) to increase outbound volume.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Good analytical skills
- Card payment system knowledge (Preferred)
- Travel related business knowledge e.g. travel agents, airlines, hotels, etc.
- Good sales and negotiating skills
- Good communication skills
- Good business acumen
- Good relationship building skills
