DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE
- Grow and open up new acceptance in identified merchant segments
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key acquirers nationwide
- Support all products both consumer and commercial in card acceptance
- Provide support to Business Development and acquirers on all compliance and issues related to Acceptance
- Support Market Expansion team to improve card accepting infrastructure in Japan
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Open new acceptance. Focus segments are Food supermarket, Utility, Medical, Life Insurance, Education and Rent.
- Manage merchant relations at key merchants e.g. JCOM, Yahoo, McDonalds and Seven-Eleven
- Provide support to Business Development and Acquirers on all compliance and issues related to Acceptance
- Support Clients in merchant development especially in focus merchant segments
- Open up card acceptance for B2B in collaboration with Commercial Team
- Support Market Expansion team to improve card accepting infrastructure in Japan
- Quantifiable enhancement to infrastructure at identified merchants to accept cards from new issuers without problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- +5 year experience in the payments industry.
- IT knowledge pertaining to networking and payments industry
