DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE
The main purpose of this role is to provide product management support to Premium product initiatives in Japan Strategy Project. This role requires co-working with local vendors and clients, as well as BDMs, in development and sales of Premium products in Japan. This role also needs deep understanding of business of local issuers under local market situation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales support for Premium products in Japan
- Build the product strategy for Consumer Premium products aligned with Japan Strategy Plan
- Plan and manage sales activities and related reporting for the product based on the product strategy
- Execute hands-on consulting sales activities to local clients independently based on the sales plan in order to increase numbers
- Obtain issuing commitments by co-working with local BDMs
- Provide external advices to local clients by being involved in clients' product design discussions
- Propose suggestions to BDMs in constructing effective product oriented financial support deals to targeted clients
- Meet or exceed agreed annual product related targets for Japan
- Meet key milestones and final targets for medium-to-long term Products launch targets
- Feedback from product managers or appropriate personnel at clients regarding presence in product development works at clients
- Plan Premium product platforms focusing on Consumers based on needs from target consumers and clients by close communication with local clients
- Develop and manage Premium product platforms by using external vendors
- Plan and contribute to advertisement activities co-working with Marketing team, including maintenance and improvements of web sites
- Plan and control A&P expensing schedule aligned with hub A&P plan
- Review, design and develop all Japanese specific sales and education product collateral
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working experiences in card industry or related industry in Japan
- Deep knowledge of local card market
- Business degrees
- Cross functional project management skill for product implementation
- Local vendor management skill
