DESCRIPTION:
This is an individual contributor, full time position, with a well known software company in located in Tokyo, Japan. This role reports to the Senior HR Director, Asia Pacific.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consults with business leaders on matters regarding strategic focus, growth and development of the organization.
Facilitates and supports Human Resources initiatives and projects.
Helps with delivery and rollout of Human Resources initiatives to assigned business units.
Identifies processes and procedures that can positively enhance organizational effectiveness and cost savings.
Provides coaching and guidance to all levels of organization in order to enhance organizational effectiveness and development.
Identifies risk factors and potential impacts to influence enhanced decision-making.
Serves as a trusted Human Resources business advisor for assigned business units.
Serves as liaison to help resolve matters of conflict within all areas of assigned business units.
Shapes Human Resources programs and initiatives based on feedback and relationships with respective teams.
Understands and utilizes company business drivers
Be the owner to all Human Resources processes, programs and systems
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience.
Possess the depth and breadth of HR knowledge and application experience.
Preference will be given to those who have gained exposure in a multinational corporation in the technology sector.
A strong understanding of HR practices and employment legislation in Japan is expected.
You must be dynamic, mature and able to communicate with the Management Team.
You must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
