Location: Tokyo, Japan
In this position, the individual will report to the leader of field sales team in Sales Dept initially, and is expected to lead the team eventually if performance/capacity is proved to be at the expected level.
The individual's initial responsibility starts from managing one large retailer, and it expands to one distributor that supplies our products to 6 key retailers.
The main mission is to maximize revenue and profit through those accounts. Also, the individual will be communicating with HQ in English on behalf of Sales Director, which is required time to time. This individual needs to be very result oriented, proactive, a team worker and have the ability to work with other teams such as Operations/Fulfillment, Finance, Marketing and Sales support/management, which requires him/her to be a very good communicator. The key factors in the communication are logicality, being number person, comprehension of business direction and tolerance to different opinions.
Requirements:
- This position requires at least 5 years of work experience.
- Experience in Consumer Retail sales for at least 3 years. (Consumer electronics, electronics accessories, other consumer goods).
- Ability to summarize complex information, and clearly communicate with internal/outside people with business relations.
- Be able to discuss face to face in English with native speakers.
- Microsoft Excel (Pivot etc.), Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience in Access as a user is a plus.
- Experience in sales to distributors, knowledge and/or experience in Business Management and knowledge and/or experience in Consumer Electronics, Semiconductors, and Memory devices is preferred.
