The company is a world leader in this category. The products are in high demand by Japan's aging population and the Japan office is growing dramatically every year. The business is very profitable.
The Sales Manager is primarily responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to exceed territory market share/revenue objectives.
This will be accomplished by leading, managing and developing a sales team to represent the company as a leader in the industry and the marketplace.
This will include performing field calls for the accounts and assigned territory (including operating room consultation) as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years demonstrated successful sales experience (in the medical industry preferred)
- 2 years of sales management experience and/or demonstrated ability to work with and lead others to accomplish
sales goals
- Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial)
- Must be comfortable in operating room environments
